Our vision emphasizes striving for excellence in learning and MRC is especially known for success in science, arts, languages and Year 12 academic results. 2010 final year results included 3 students in the top 1% of Australia. Students learning French and Japanese are able to participate in overseas immersion trips. Our academic program is complemented by a range of VET programs including Construction, Electro Technology, Hospitality, Bakery, Tourism, Business and Childcare which provide students with employment opportunities. The middle-years' program provides a supportive environment for students making the transition from primary to high school and a curriculum that focuses strongly on literacy and numeracy as well as innovative, inquiry based and experiential programs preparing them to become citizens of the 21st century. Students are able to participate in an extensive co-curricular program including a variety of sports, biennial musical production, bands and community service opportunities.
