New Town High School is a Tasmanian Government secondary school located in New Town, a leafy inner suburb of Hobart. It has a unique place in Tasmania as the only all boys Government high school, and caters for boys from Years 7 to 10. Parents choose New Town High for their sons' secondary education for a variety of reasons: family association, academic cultural and sporting reputation and because it is a school for boys only.
