Hawker Park Primary School nestles amongst beautiful bushland with manicured lawns and gardens with a student population of 230 from Kindergarten to Year 7. Facilities include newly resurfaced basketball courts, enclosed vegetable gardens, adventure playgrounds and fitness equipment. Current buildings are air-conditioned and include purpose built Art/Music block, library, Pre-primary and Kindergarten Centres. Most learning areas are equipped with computers and interactive whiteboards providing curriculum network and internet access to enhance learning strategies. Experienced and enthusiastic staff provides a wide range of expertise assisting students develop creative, academic, social, physical and life skills to their full potential. Curriculum focus areas include the Arts with a school choir and selected senior students receiving specialist instrumental tuition in clarinet, percussion and brass.
