Holy Rosary School Kensington is an inner-city Catholic primary school. Our 190 students come from the local area and represent many different cultures. The school was originally established in 1917 under the care of the Mercy Sisters. We have maintained a strong commitment to the core values of faith, social justice and educational excellence. We value our strong links to the local community and provide many opportunities for our students to participate in a wide range of activities within the community to enhance our educational programs and to foster a sense of belonging and connection to the community. We are committed to the well-being of students with an effective pastoral care system and close links to external referral agencies. Our facilities have been refurbished and well-resourced to provide an attractive and effective educational environment. Our specialist programs are library, Japanese, music, and PE. Our curriculum is inquiry-based and our arts program and IT enhance the learning activities.
