Elizabeth Vale Primary School, located in northern Adelaide, is a culturally- rich and diverse school comprising mainstream classes, a regional special class (Years 3 to 7) and a New Arrivals Program (NAP). The school has an onsite Child Parent Centre (CPC) supporting a smooth transition to school. From CPC to Year 7 we have over 240 enrolments. The NAP unit provides an intensive English program for children from a non-English speaking background within their first two years of arrival into Australia. Our NAP students come from the local council area of the City of Playford and many travel via bus to the school from within this area. We warmly embrace and celebrate the diversity of the 34 cultural backgrounds represented at our school. The school is a Category 1 level of socio-economic disadvantage. We have close connections with many community and support organisations. Our school values are honesty, excellence and respect.
