Parkside Primary School was opened in 1885 and has delivered R to7 education for 125 years. We are committed to providing a challenging learning environment which prepares all students with the skills, knowledge and understanding to become productive members of our society. Our values are respect, enthusiasm, achievement, cooperation and honesty which form the acronym REACH. The majority of our students come from the local community but we currently provide an International Education Program to overseas families. The school has a strong relationship with its community and has fostered partnerships with local schools and government. Our current focus is: technology, literacy, collaborative learning, inquiry, higher-order thinking and problem solving. Priorities are; literacy, ICT, science and wellbeing. We also have a strong commitment to physical activity and sport. Mandarin Chinese is taught from reception. We value our unique community spirit, which has developed over many years, and encourage achievement and self-awareness in a caring supportive environment.
