Belle Vue Primary School strives to provide an effective and engaging learning community which promotes individual excellence and develops social competencies. We aim to foster life long learning, through child centred, meaningful and challenging programs. We provide learning opportunities through quality programs in all areas including Performing Arts, LOTE (Italian) and PE/Sport. Our programs are designed to cater for the individual needs of a diverse range of students. This includes a variety of extension programs, both within and beyond regular classrooms to develop the whole child. There is a strong partnership between parents and the school. Parents participate in our reading program, school council, as classroom helpers, student-led conferences, open days, information nights, working bees and various social activities. At Belle Vue we believe children learn best when they are actively involved in their learning, there is clear demonstration and expectation, their learning fulfils their needs, purpose and interest, they take responsibility for their own learning, they have a positive self esteem and there are positive links between home and school.We have approximately 200 students who enjoy a safe and stimulating environment and we have outside of school care program. Belle Vue has 11.2 teachers, 3.6 Education Support Staff and 2 Principal Class Officers.
