The King David School exists to provide pre-school to Year 12 education based firmly in Progressive Jewish teaching and values, fostering a strong commitment to Australian history and identity, and to developing a deep sense of civic responsibility at local, national and global levels. Special programs such as Philosophy for Children, Philosophy for Life, Kabbalat Torah (Embracing Scripture), Expanding Horizons and Challenge are created to extend students confidence, competence, resilience and desire to contribute to society. The King David School offers a diverse range of dynamic programs, featuring Enrichment and Extension, a school wide Music Program, Drama, Visual Arts, Robotics, Creative Science and an Interschool sporting program from Years 5 to 12. Our VCE results place us amongst the top 8% of schools in the State and our graduates enter a wide range of prestigious traditional courses as well as highly competitive innovative career paths.
