Xavier College is an independent Catholic school in the Jesuit tradition. Over 2000 students are currently enrolled at its three campuses. The Kostka Hall campus in Brighton has over 350 students from Kindergarten to Year 8 and the Burke Hall campus in Studley Park, Kew, has over 730 students across the same year levels. Both campuses are co-educational until the end of Year 4 when we offer education for boys only through Years 5 to 8. The Senior Campus, on a separate site in Barkers Rd, Kew, offers education for boys and has over 940 students enrolled across Years 9 to12. This includes 74 boarders, most of whom come from rural Victoria and southern NSW. Owned by the Society of Jesus since its establishment in 1878, the College is committed to the Jesuit tradition which seeks to enable students to find God in all things, to live out their vocation in life according to the variety of their gifts, and to serve others. Programs at all levels seek to develop the whole life of each student-spiritually, intellectually, morally, aesthetically, intellectually, physically, socially and emotionally. Participation in Ignatian Service programs is central to each student's development.
