St Joseph the Worker Primary Auburn is a single stream Catholic systemic schoolwithin the Archdiocese of Sydney catering for boys and girls from Kindergarten to Year 6. Children come from a wide range of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. With a school motto of 'Creating a Difference', St Joseph the Worker uses Jesus as a model for all that we do. Liturgy and prayer plays a vital role in the Catholic religious dimension of the school. Our Parish Priest, Fr Mark Spora, is very supportive of our school. ICT and eLearning forms an integral part of the teaching and learning at St Joseph the Worker. A range of technological resources exists including access to banks of laptop computers and interactive Smartboards in every classroom. Flip cameras, i-pods, and digital cameras are part of the daily learning experience. At St Joseph the Worker we are committed to providing a happy and safe environment where all members of the community are respected and encouraged to achieve their best. Our Pastoral Care Policy, incorporating discipline procedures, and Bullying Prevention Policy are reviewed regularly. Our school staff is enthusiastic, dedicated, professional and caring.
