Badgerys Creek Public School offers a unique learning environment in a semi-rural setting. A small school has existed on the idyllic site for over 100 years and has a proud and interesting history. The school provides a positive, caring and effective learning environment by encouraging and supporting the growth and development of all individuals. Small multi-age groupings are utilised to support the effective and equitable delivery of individualised educational programs in Literacy and Numeracy. Student achievement is regularly recognised and celebrated. Strong student welfare initiatives are implemented to ensure the school is a safe and supportive environment where students feel nurtured and are confident to express their feelings and be challenged. The school rules are based on the NSW Public Schools core values of integrity, respect, responsibility, cooperation, excellence, fairness, participation, democracy and care. The community provides a strong support system within the school. Parent involvement at all levels is encouraged and welcomed. Our dedicated parents work collaboratively with staff and students to ensure an effective learning community that works towards a united vision in achieving quality outcomes for students. The school is also an active member of the Cowpasture Community of Schools with seven other local schools (Austral, Bringelly, Horsley Park, Kemps Creek, Leppington, Middleton Grange, Rossmore Public Schools). The schools work together to provide support and greater diversity of opportunities for students and staff.
