NVCS is a K to Year 6 non-denominational Christian school in the north-west of NSW. It seeks to engage in authentically Christian scholarship in every aspect of schooling. The purpose of NVCS is to support Christian parents by providing an educational setting in which teaching and learning of a high standard are founded on Bible-based beliefs, values and behaviours and where parents have ready access to the decision making framework. NVCS offers K to 6 education provided by fully trained Christian staff. We have a God-centred approach to education, both in theory and practice. We promote an authentic Christian education in partnership with parents. We focus on Jesus and do everything for Him, developing and using God given gifts. We seek to care for the spiritual, academic, physical and emotional needs of each student. This care is the responsibility of the whole school community - teachers, parents and students. The school complies with government requirements in all subject areas. Small classes average 12 students per teacher, with additional support staff. Students achieve consistently high results in NAPLAN tests. There is strong parental involvement both in class and in management. For 28 years the school has been serving the needs of families in the Narrabri Shire, who desire Christian education for their children.
