Carroll Public School is a small rural school which serves the village community of Carroll and its rural surrounds. A unique program offered to students at Carroll Public School is 'Magical Musos to Maestros'. This program has been developed and implemented by an internationally renowned classical composer and has enabled students to gain a strong appreciation of music of all styles. In addition, it has also provided each student with the opportunity to receive free after-school tuition in vocals, drums, piano and guitar. Not only does a good music program give students the opportunity to experience another medium, but there is also a direct link between rhythm and the ability to learn and memorise. Our 'Magical Musos to Maestros' program is empowering and has opened new doors of opportunity to our students. Interaction with other schools in the local area and excursions to many different locations and environments are also a priority at Carroll Public School as it is very important to us that we prepare our students for a world beyond the village of Carroll.
