Our 2010 enrolment of 227 students was slightly up on 2009. Another mid 30s prep enrolment continues a sound enrolment trend. Our 2010 ICSEA (Index of Community Socio-Educational Advantage) was 954 slightly below the average of 1000. Our young staffing profile allowed us to again offer 11 small classes of between 19-22 students. In addition weekly specialist classes operated in music, art, ICT and library. The school has a principal, an assistant principal who was appointed during 2010, 13.6 teaching staff and 5.3 ES staff . The position focus of data analysis and D & I organisation will further promote school improvement. The school has maintained a strong focus on the continued improvement of Literacy and Numeracy skills with the embedding of ICT and the Thinking Curriculum key strategies. Our computer to enrolment ratio for 2010 was 1: 1.77. We are looking forward to the commencement of our BER project (an Early Leanirng Centre) in 2011.
