The school is located in the small country town of Kyogle and many students travel long distances to attend school. There is a diverse range of students and it is a feature of the school that students show a high degree of tolerance and respect for each other and maintain a harmonious space. This friendly, supportive environment has enabled students to achieve outstanding results in academic, sporting, cultural and social pursuits. Our aim is to create and maintain a caring environment in which we all feel happy and safe and are encouraged to perform to our personal best in a productive learning environment. Kyogle High School is a school where students wear their uniform with pride. During 2009 the school was successful in being placed on the National Partnerships Program.
