John Paul College is a Catholic co-educational Years 7-12 school with a broad curriculum, serving five parishes in the Frankston district. Our College has a rich heritage in the tradition of the fcJ sisters and the Marianist order. They were instrumental in establishing a community inspired by faith in the good news of Jesus. We are inspired to continue this journey of faith and are nurtured by the charisms of these two orders. Our enrolment policy gives priority to Catholic children from the five parishes however, a number of places are made available to other Catholic children and to children from other Christian faiths. John Paul College has a strongly developed pastoral and community environment, based on a vertical pastoral care system, which encourages student leadership. Students have opportunities to be involved in peer mediation and support programs. Set amidst spacious, well-maintained grounds and gardens, John Paul College has specialist facilities which enhance the learning environment. These include a chapel, a resource centre, a gymnasium/health centre, recently renovated science laboratories, sophisticated information technology facilities, visual and performing arts studios, a technology centre and flexible learning spaces. At Years 7-10 there is an emphasis on broad based curriculum and in the senior years students can select from the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE), the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) and Vocational Education & Training (VET) certificates.
