Welcome to Goulburn Street Primary School. Goulburn Street Primary School is located on the fringe of the Hobart central business district. Our school has provided the students of Hobart city with over 150 years of educational excellence. The school is perched on a hill amongst interesting play spaces for approximately 180 students. The teaching staff are highly committed to improving the learning outcomes of our students. They provide targeted and focused programs that excite. Our students achieve high educational outcomes across all areas of the curriculum. We foster in our children the skills of independent learning ,creative thinking and the ability to articulate their thoughts. We want to develop in our children the confidence and skills to become life-long learners. Our curriculum is all encompassing featuring birth to 4 programs for pre-schoolers and then Kindergarten to Year 6. Children are able to access specialist programs that feature Music, Physical Education and the Italian language. Children are also able to access music options such as choir, band, percussion and recorder.
