The Grange P-12 College is located in Hoppers Crosssing in the City of Wyndham. Wyndham is the fastest growing area in Victoria. The College comprises of two campuses, one for students in years 7 to12 and the other for students in years Prep to 6. There is a current enrolment of 1963 students across both campuses. The College is located on a housing estate built in the 1980's with new housing developments to the immediate north and west of the school. New enrolments are increasingly coming from these estates. The demographics of the College has changed in recent years to reflect a multicultural profile. The College employs 180 staff across both campues that includes Principal class,145 teaching staff and 35 Educational Support Staff. The College is focussed on ensuring each student has a viable pathway and completes year 12 or equivalent. To achieve this the College has developed a range of programs, developed partnerships with universities, community organisations and introduced a range of organisational structures to implement a curriculum that meets the needs of all students. There is a strong focus on Literacy and Numeracy skills in the Primary and Middle Years moving to a focus of academic and vocational programs in the Seniors Years. The College is committed to vocational education being a integral part of the Senior Years programs and to facilitate this, we are working with secondary colleges and the Local Learning and Employment Network to develop the Trade Training Centre due to open in 2013.
