St Bede's Catholic Primary School, Balwyn North, was established in 1946 to cater for the education of Catholic families within the St Bede's parish. Our school is a place where children are embraced by our Catholic culture to understand themselves as loved by God, to uncover the richness of our faith and to see the world as a place of possibility and hope. The school itself has been extensively rebuilt and refurbished over recent years creating a wonderful learning environment, incorporating vibrant learning spaces equipped with interactive learning technologies. There exists at St Bede's a strong sense of community and we greatly value the formation of partnerships between parents, children, teachers and the wider parish community. A high priority is given to ensuring the professionalism and ongoing development of the staff driven by our Vision where each student is given the time and support 'to learn, to know, to do, to live together and to be'. Whilst academic attainment is a high priority, considerable importance is placed on all aspects of personal growth including physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual and moral development.
