Woodland Road Public School is located in the suburb of St Helens Park and is part of the Campbelltown School Education Group. It is a small, attractive school with extensive grounds. It provides educational success in a caring, supportive environment. The teaching and support staff at Woodland Road Public School are conscientious and dedicated to three priorities: raising educational standards, high quality curriculum delivery and the care and safety of all students. The school provides challenging educational programs with a focus on literacy and numeracy. Our purpose is to create a school community of positive relationships which promotes a love of life-long learning and fosters each individual's full potential as contributing members of Australian society. We are proud of our commitment to fostering an environment of tolerance and respect for difference. Aspects which reflect the perspectives of our school culture and beliefs include: integration programs for children with various disabilities; leadership programs which operate K-6; and our varied co-curricular activities which enable our students to develop their talents in areas such as public speaking, debating, music, sport, dance and environmental investigations. We have a very active and enthusiastic parent body that we value greatly. The school's P and C Association forms an integral part in supporting the school community and the children's educational needs. The school motto 'Grow with Love and Learning' reflects the common goal that aims to help students to become self directed, lifelong learners who create a positive future for themselves. Our feeder areas are Bradbury, Airds, St Helens Park and Wedderburn, suburbs which are diverse in social and economic context, yet connected by the school. The student population of Woodland Road Public School includes 22% ESL students, 4% Aboriginal background with 6% of our students funded for significant learning disabilities. Strong support and extension programs operate. We aim to provide Quality Learning,..
