Seaforth is a small metropolitan primary school which opened in 1978 and is situated in the locality of Gosnells. The school caters for students from Kindergarten to Year 7. School enrolment remains steady at around 250 students. Our student profile includes students from 12 different nationalities. Our learning areas are a cluster design which allows classes to work together with various activities. After analysis of test results, Seaforth focuses on Literacy and Numeracy skills training for students and supports the community to promote Literacy and Numeracy with their children. This emphasis is supported by our active school council. There is a full computer lab at the school, and each classroom has the use of SMART boards. The school runs a creative music program with an emphasis on guitar, a physical education program and Italian language classes. The school is undergoing an upgrade with a new art and music facility and covered assembly area. Seaforth has a strong pastoral care program which includes Protective Behaviours Strategies and delivers the Friendly Schools and Families program.
