Amsleigh Park Primary School is located in Oakleigh East and has a current student population of 357 students - the school has experienced considerable growth over the last five years. We are a school community that is committed to continuous improvement and achieving excellence in teaching and learning. We do have a reputation for providing quality learning programs in all curriculum areas. Every effort is made to ensure our programs cater for the individual needs and diverse range of students. This includes a wide range of intervention, extension and extra-curricular programs including, chess, dance and tennis. Our school priorities are in the areas of Literacy, Numeracy, Information and Communication Technology and Thinking with a strong commitment to the implementation of various student wellbeing programs. A highlight of the school’s culture is the extremely strong partnership between parents and staff which is supported by a very proactive School Council. In 2010 we opened our new building which provides fantastic learning spaces for our German and Physical Education Programs.Our school has 15 class teachers, 5 specialist teachers, 1 support teacher and 10 Educational Support Personnel. All staff at Amsleigh Park are committed to the proviision of a caring and engaging environment for all students as 21st century learners.
