Welcome to St Bernardine's School, a school that has been providing a quality Catholic schooling in the Regents Park area since 1982, and is an integral part of the Parish community. We currently have around 585 students from Prep to year 7, and in accordance with our Mission Statement all our endeavours, relationships, decisions and programs are Christ-centred and child-centred. We see the education of the child as a partnership between school and home. At St Bernardine's, we strive to provide an holistic education for the child. We see the academic, spiritual, physical, emotional, moral and aesthetic development of the child as crucial. To this end we have a range of specialist teachers employed to support the classroom teachers in this holistic education. These are a physical education teacher, a music teacher, a band and instrumental music teacher, a cultural literacy teacher, a learning support teacher, a guidance counsellor an early years intervention teacher, an enrichment teacher, an IT support teacher and a teacher-librarian. Our dedicated and caring staff are concerned with the welfare of each child at this school. Parents are invited to work with our staff with openness and mutual respect.
