On the spacious Wendouree campus, the Centre for Early Education (CEED) shares facilities with Grammar Junior (P- Year 6) and Senior (Years 7 – 12) Schools. A culture of high expectation, supported by experienced, professional teaching staff, results in academic excellence, reflecting Grammar’s breadth of academic endeavour, nurturing students’ real passions. Indicative of this was the progress of a Grammar student who was one of two selected from the 2011 National Youth Science Forum to attend the Research Science Institute at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. There, among the brightest Science students from around the world, he produced a research project which was nominated as one of the top five. Outstanding Music, Drama and Dance programs involve all students in the renowned Wendouree Centre for Performing Arts, and the Visual Arts program has seven specialisations. Thriving studies of Chinese, French and Latin are supported by close links with excellent schools in China and France. A new VCE Philosophy study is strongly supported, as is a range of Science subjects. The Agriculture program, with cattle and sheep studs, is based on the School’s 120-acre farm, adjacent to the University of Ballarat Agriculture and Equestrian facilities. Grammar graduates progress to many destinations, with the largest number going to the University of Melbourne, following advice from an expert Careers Department.
