LANGFORD ISLAMIC COLLEGE Langford Islamic College is a co-educational Kindergarten to Year 11 School. The core value of the college is to provide a high quality secular and religious education, thus enabling our students to succeed in a constantly changing world. The college aims to develop each child intellectually, physically, emotionally, socially, religiously, morally, to be proud and successful citizens of Australia. Our college vision is to provide quality education to students who can make positive contributions to the Australian community through active citizenship. Our students take part regularly in a wide range of extra-curricular activities, participate in many community events. The college has about 340 children and high proportion of them is from non-English-speaking and low-socio-economic backgrounds. To overcome this, the college is providing extra supports for these children with a high ratio of ESL educational assistants and teachers. Our caring and professional teachers and counselors provide the best education possible to the children in an environment conducive to learning. The college is proud to be recognized by the community for its friendly and caring atmosphere, where children enjoy coming to school every day.
