Orchard Grove PS is committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment that engages curiosity, promotes learning, personal growth and well being for all students. We strive to develop adaptability and resilience so students can become valued members of the local and global communities and be prepared for future life experiences. Our school strives to offer excellence in all aspects of primary education. An emphasis upon literacy and numeracy has resulted in pleasing academic performance. We also provide quality learning programs in all other curriculum areas. The school has 32.3 equivalent full time staff- 2 principal class, 29 teachers and 10 support staff. Our core values of Integrity, Respect, Valuing Diversity, Working Together and Fostering Growth underpin the expected behaviours and attitudes of the students, staff and school community. Orchard Grove places a strong emphasis on developing lifelong strategies for sustainability which is reflected in our working garden and environmental projects. The school has excellent facilities and expansive grounds and is well resourced by a supportive school council and parent body. The upgrade of our Performing Arts Centre and Gymnasium is currently underway, and these facilities will be a fantastic asset for school and community use.
