Ozford is proud of the superior education that we deliver in Years 10, 11 and 12 (V.C.E -Victorian Certificate of Education) and V.C.A.L (Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning). Ozford utilises well-researched teaching pedagogies with many opportunities offered to students to excel academically. Through the VCAL program, students are provided with the opportunity to practice skills learned by undertaking real life learning which is based on community issues and values. In the recent past our achievements included: three students achieved a place for in the Kwong Lee Dow Young Scholars program conducted by the University of Melbourne; one student achieved the maximum score of 50 in VCE unit 3-4 Vietnamese. The college provides after-class tutorials. Four academic reports are prepared annually and end of semester reports are sent directly to parents. We provide a comprehensive student support service with a dedicated student welfare officer. All students attend an extended camp at some stage during their studies at the High School. Typically, camps are three days duration and involve outdoor activities and visits to well-known sites. There is a weekly Activities Program where students participate in sporting activities and cultural visits.
