The College is named after St Eugene de Mazenod, founder of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate, a religious congregation of Priests who have responsibility for the College. The College motto is to 'Leave Nothing Undared'. This translates into taking every opportunity to share the gospel message and to enrich our students intellectually, morally, socially and spiritually. Mazenod College offers a balanced curriculum for boys in the areas of Religious Education, English, Mathematics, Sciences, Humanities, Commerce, LOTE, Visual and Performing Arts, Physical Education and Materials and Information Technology. There is a wide range of offerings at the senior level, including over forty VCE subjects as well as the alternative VCAL certificate. Vocational offerings (VET) and VCAL subjects are also offered. Religious Education is a core component emphasising social awareness, compassion for those left out and a desire for a more just society. Our student population is multi-cultural - this rich diversity leads to a healthy understanding of and respect for our national diversity so that as individuals, as a College and as a society we are all the more enriched.
