Presentation College Windsor (PCW) is a Catholic secondary school for girls established in 1873 by the Presentation Sisters, inheriting a tradition of adventure, excellence and welcome creating an openness to teaching and learning that infuses the school. With a motto 'Education Leads to Life', the school is guided by the values of learning, community and relationships.Our objective is to provide a learning environment with moral purpose, where all are welcomed and the culture of deep learning is embedded in the life of the school. Our central location in the inner-south of Melbourne gives access to a very wide range of activities and programs which complement the College's broad and inclusive curriculum. This includes our Year 9 Eachtra program where students take part in four 'adventures' throughout the year. Through a partnership with our adjacent brother school, CBC St Kilda, students have access to 35 VCE studies, a well established VCAL program and 18 VET studies. As well, a co-educational dimension is added to the senior years of schooling. The campus includes a combination of beautiful nineteenth century buildings as well as contemporary, technology-rich facilities. When we enrol a student in Year 7 we make a commitment to offer her six years of secondary education, providing multiple pathways, flexible programs and a wide ranging curriculum. As students move through the middle years they are assisted in developing a course plan which provides for them to strive for achievement and experience success. In their transition to senior school they are supported to choose the secondary school certificate best suited to them. It is our goal for every girl to graduate at the end of Year 12, ready to move into adult life with confidence.
