Port Melbourne Primary School is a rapidly-growing inner-suburban school, committed to the promotion of excellence in all facets of school life, in an area of rapid demographic change. Enrolments have increased from 173 in 2006 to an expected 550 in 2012. During 2008-11, the school underwent a major facilities upgrade, in order to accomodate the increasing enrolments. Since the completion of the upgrade in arly 2011, all students now have access to an outstanding classroom environment. All classrooms are open plan, with flexible learning spaces that enable the school to deliver a differentiated curriculum that caters for the learning needs of all students. At Port Melbourne Primary School, we appreciate the importance of the whole school environment and community – our people, buildings, grounds, and belongings. The school offers specialist programs in French, Performing Arts, Phys Ed and Visual Arts, as well as an Instrumental Music program.
