Bateman Primary School is located in the suburb of Bateman, 14km south of Perth City. The school aims to provide an inclusive, creative and innovative environment which supports learning. Our school values the multicultural diversity of our community, promotes positive interaction between students, staff and parents and is supported by an active parent body. The air-conditioned school is well resourced with playing fields, covered outdoor areas, extensive hands-on teaching materials, integrated computing facilities and a library. An Arts Centre (Music and Visual Art) and Early Learning Centre are currently under construction. Experienced teachers provide a stimulating program that covers the eight learning areas: English, Mathematics, Society & Environment, Science, Languages other than English - Mandarin, The Arts, Health & Physical Education and Technology & Enterprise. In addition, the school offers programs that support higher order thinking, the development of values, appropriate behaviour, after school sporting activities, instrumental music and targeted learning for identified students. Staff monitor student progress and regularly review the learning program.
