At St Raphael's we ensure that students 'grow in knowledge of our Catholic religion and heritage' through 'To Know, Worship and Love' text, Sacramental programs and parish celebrations. We endeavour to create an inclusive, educational environment in a spirit of openness, trust and cooperation while recognising each student's potential as individuals and community members and provide appropriate structures and support. We strive to develop and maintain a positive school culture where students' resilience is fostered and we promote a healthy approach to life and general wellbeing. Learning and teaching is of high standards. St Raphael's has specialist programs in physical education, music, Italian, science and visual art. We also provide intervention programs, both Reading Recovery and Maths Intervention. In 2010 we have introduced an extension program for highly able students from Prep to Year 6. We have a strong community spirit acknowledging and fostering home/school/parish partnership. Our staff are committed professionals who ensure a safe, organised, welcoming and well-resourced environment for all members of the school community.
