Riverside High School was established in 1962 and in partnership with the community has maintained an enviable reputation partly built on achievement in a wide variety of academic leadership workplace sporting and cultural pursuits. However our success is not just measured by the outstanding achievements of our most gifted students. We promote learning for life aiming to equip students for dealing positively with future challenges and triumphs. We ensure that there are opportunities for everyone and anticipate that when our students leave Year 10 they are independent learners with definite goals and the sense of purpose to make the most of their talents and abilities. In addition to studying a comprehensive range of subjects, students have the opportunity to participate in outdoor education camps, music and drama events, art exhibitions and sports teams. The school has a demonstrated commitment to extending students and we have enjoyed considerable success in a variety of competitions. The majority of our students undertake leadership training for various roles during their time here. As a school community we are also determined to improve every aspect of what we do.
