St Patrick's College was established in 1952 and has provided a high quality Catholic education in the Edmund Rice tradition for 60 years in the Shorncliffe area. St Patrick's College, Shorncliffe is situated in Brisbane on the cliffs of Shorncliffe overlooking Moreton Bay. It caters for boys from years 5 to 12 and currently has an enrolment of 1165 students. As an Edmund Rice School its core values are based on the four touchstones of an Edmund Rice School which include Liberating Education, Gospel Spirituality, Inclusive Community and Justice and Spirituality. St Patrick's College has a strong focus on social justice and operates the Paddies Van each week, supporting local justice initiatives in Sandgate and Brisbane City. St Patrick's College has an extensive academic curriculum catering for both Overall Position and Vocational Education pathways. The College also offers an extensive co-curricular program catering for a wide range of sporting and cultural pursuits. St Patrick's College fosters a strong community relationship with its parents and the local Shorncliffe and Sandgate Community.
