St Brigid's Catholic School is a Catholic school that actively supports the mission of the Catholic Archdiocese of Hobart in word and action. The school works in partnership with the Catholic Parish of Central Tasmania in serving the Catholic and broader members of the local community. New Norfolk is a semi-rural town 35 kilometres northwest of Hobart and St Brigid's Catholic School is situated on the banks of the River Derwent. The school is co-educational, single-stream, catering for students from Kindergarten to Grade 6. St Brigid's Catholic School is a faith-filled community committed to the example of Jesus Christ lived in the spirit of the Charism of her founders, the Sisters of Charity and the Presentation Sisters.
