At Mount Martha Primary School students’ learning is well provided for through excellent teaching, targeted programs, and safe and comfortable class, specialist and recreational areas. High quality extra-curricular activities extend student learning across a wide range of curriculum areas including the Performing and Visual Arts, contemporary communication technologies and sport. The school community is committed to the holistic development of students. The continued development of student literacy and numeracy skills are paramount and supported by the innovative use of information and communication technology. Students are offered quality programs which provide many opportunities for connection with others while developing skills, attitudes and interests. Student learning extends beyond the classroom to the local community. Parents and the school community are actively encouraged to support student learning through a myriad of activities. This is evident in our very supportive and dedicated School Council, Parent and Teacher Association and the high level of parent support for class programs, excursions, camps and social events. Mount Martha is very proud to be acknowledged as a 4 Star Sustainable school and continues to strive for even greater environmental awareness and care. Many families at our school are assisted by the school operated Out of School Hours Care Program which can cater for up to70 students a day.
