Berwick Chase Primary School, situated in the heart of the south-eastern growth corridor, opened its doors at the start of the 2009 school year with an enrolment of 168. We completed 2010 with over 320 children. Our philosophy is to give every child the opportunity to succeed academically, socially, physically and emotionally. By working in partnership with the parents and broader school community we cater for the needs of all children and prepare them to be valuable, contributing members of society. The school culture is based on mutual respect and community involvement. The school design incorporates flexible learning commons where children actively participate in learning experiences targeted at their point of need. Curriculum development has been, and will remain, a priority. We offer a variety of extra-curricular activities within and outside of regular school hours. Berwick Chase has a diverse student population; many of whom come from outside our immediate neighbourhood area with a wide variety of educational needs. It is our belief that all children have the right to a high quality, challenging and inclusive education.
