Timboon P-12 School is committed to continuous improvement and achieving educational excellence in all school years from Prep to Year 12 . The school has developed a culture that encourages and supports participation in a broad range of cultural, sporting and academic activit ies. We have gained a reputation as a school that has consistently achieved high VCE results and extremely high VET/VCAL completion rates. Our Literacy and numeracy programs in the early years ensure that strong foundations are developed in these key learning areas. While our Year 5 to 8 programs creates a seamless transition from primary to secondary schooling. Our school has 546 students and 55 staff: 3 Principal class, 47 teachers and 8 support staff. Timboon P-12 School has adopted Dr Stephen Covey’s ‘7 Habits’ as a platform to provide students with leadership skills, strong values and organisational skills which can be used to support their learning and personal development. In 2009 our school was included in the Building Futures program. In 2010 a 900 sq metre school/community library was completed. These exciting programs will ensure that state-of-the-art facilities are available to our school community and strengthen the P-4, 5-8 and 9-12 Sub School structure under which the school operates.
