Osbornes Flat Primary School is a small rural school which values its family atmosphere. We highly regard and provide small classes and individual attention to every student in our care. Our culture is all encompassing, respectful of every person and a place where diversity is celebrated. Our location in a rural area supports us in our wish to be active in environmental issues. We respect our place in the community and work towards increasing our involvement in the local and wider community. Our school is located six kilometres from Yackandandah and thirty kilometres south-east of Wodonga. Currently the school enrolment is 47. The school has 3 full time teaching staff, a full time Principal and 0.2 clerical support staff. We have the services of an art specialist from the Mobile Art and Craft Van one day a fortnight and a similar arrangement with the Mobile Area Resource Centre and its librarian. Upper Murray Regional Library Mobile Service visits fortnightly, enabling all members of the community to take advantage of the library. We offer specialist French, Library and Music programs to all students.We believe that offering a diverse curriculum is essential. Every child in our school is placed on an Individual Learning Plan to ensure that exemplary academic and social progress is made by our students. Parental participation is highly encouraged and is part of our school's mission and vision philosophies.
