St Joseph's College is a Catholic secondary College located in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne. We were founded in 1965 to meet the needs of the local parish communities. Today we have a student population of over 1000 boys, with modern facilities located on extensive grounds which includes a separate campus, Valdocco, for our Year 9 students. We provide a Salesian education which inspires dynamic learning that is life-focused, person-centred and built on the respect between teacher and student. Our broad and innovative curriculum caters for the needs of all our students, both academically and emotionally, highlighting our skills in boys' education. At St Joseph's we strongly believe in facilitating inclusive education and as such we have the highest percentage of funded students in Victorian Catholic schools. We provide extensive support and assistance to students, as well as providing challenges to gifted students through our Gifted and Talented Education Program (GATE). We offer over 30 VCE, VCAL and VET subjects enabling all students to have the opportunity to achieve their career aspirations, whatever they may be.
