Sacred Heart College Yarrawonga is a progressive, co-educational Catholic school. From 2011, the College's registration has been amended to provide senior secondary education for Year 11 in 2011 and Year 12 from 2012. The charisma of the College continues to this day to reflect the traditions of our Mercy heritage. The College enjoys strong links with the Yarrawonga Catholic Parish, the Sisters of Mercy and the wider local and regional community. The College provides a broad curriculum with learning programs in all of the key learning areas. Years 7-9 have a focus on middle schooling. At Year 9, the dedicated 'Ignite' learning program focuses on making learning for this group of students more relevant, engaging and rewarding. Years 10-12, while organising learning within the key learning areas, have a focus on flexible structure that allow for personalising student learning and providing opportunities for self-directed learning. Senior students also have access to a number of vocational education and training programs, both on-site and with external providers.
