East Adelaide School became one site amalgamating junior primary and primary in 2011. We work in partnership with parents and the community to provide the best possible learning environment and educational outcomes for students. We offer a caring, secure and happy atmosphere in which the specific needs of students can be met. We encourage students to develop positive attitudes about themselves, attitudes which contribute to their academic, social, physical, creative and emotional development. Students are encouraged to participate in decision making structures in the school including student council and leadership groups in the middle years, and other leadership responsibilities across other year levels. As children bring a variety of experiences to school we provide a wide range of teaching learning practices and methodologies, enabling them to develop at a level appropriate to their ability.
