Glen Osmond Primary School prides itself on offering a broad, balanced R to 7 curriculum and is committed to developing lifelong learners with the skills to be successful participants in the local and global community. Specialist teachers take responsibility for delivering high quality programs in the areas of music, visual arts and French. Digital learning technologies are an integral part of the total curriculum program offered to students. Staff leadership positions support resource-based learning, together with health, physical education and sports programs. Extra-curricular activities include instrumental music and a diverse range of team sports utilising the school's gymnasium, playing field, courts and the local community sporting facilities. 'Student voice' also plays an important role in the delivery of the curriculum. Students are invited to contribute to the construction of the term curriculum overviews. The annual Year 6/7 musical provides an opportunity for Year 6/7 students to demonstrate their musical and drama expertise.
