The Hills Montessori School is an independent parent/staff run school located in an idyllic bush setting in the Adelaide Hills, proudly offering an education founded on the Montessori philosophy and Montessori principles of education. The school offers Infant Program sessions for 0 to 3 year olds and tuition from Preschool to Year 7. As of 2011 a newly opened Middle School will offer an Adolescent program for students in Years 7-10. This will be the first Montessori Adolescent program in South Australia. The Hills Montessori School provides students with a secure, happy and rich environment where they learn at their own rate undertaking tasks appropriate to their level of development in a caring and non-competitive environment. The School's philosophy is based on the universal values of self respect and respect for others, fostering a love of learning and a sense of community and global responsibility.
