Brandon State School is a small, rural school for students from Prep to Year 7, located in the township of Brandon, 7km north of Ayr. Our students participate in many extracurricular activities, including include music, PE, instrumental music, whole school lunch-time activities, inter-school sport, camps, environment and gardening activities, and cultural performances which may visit the school. Learning outcomes for different learning abilities and styles are catered for through the implementation of whole-school literacy and numeracy lessons, whole-school reading, intervention support, gifted and talented programs, peer and cross age tutoring and extensive ICT integration to classroom delivery of curriculum.Our teaching and learning ensures that each child develops necessary skills to succeed and achieve as future citizens.
