Kings Christian College is a non-denominational Christian School centrally located on Queensland's Gold Coast. Founded in 1980, Kings has grown to a school of almost 1700 students providing childcare, preschool, primary and secondary education. Our Mission is to educate Christian leaders for tomorrow's generation with our Vision to be the exemplar Christian school in Australia. Over the past few years, Kings has devoted significant resources into developing a wide and best practice curriculum which can be delivered from a distinctively Christian world view. The fruits of this continuing focus are shown in our students, who consistently achieve academic results above the Queensland and national averages. In addition to this considerable effort towards achieving academic excellence, we also have a much broader focus. We aim to give students the opportunity to thrive in whichever area their God given gifts and interests lie. Students have the opportunity to excel in academic, cultural, sporting and other areas. Our Industrial Design and Technology Department is quickly gaining an enviable reputation. By working with industry and creating innovative programs based on real world scenarios, students are encouraged and inspired to achieve their potential. Our co-curricular activities are the strengths of our College. Students are able to choose from a wide range of activities that broaden their horizons and give them experiences that they might not otherwise have access to. Kings also has a history of high achievement in creative arts, with students performing consistently well in eisteddfods and art shows.
