Mount Marrow State School is a semi-rural school west of Ipswich. It is a small school with a maximum enrolment of 75 students. Our multi-age classrooms comprise an early years class of Prep to Year 2, a 3/4/5 class and a 6/7 class. These class combinations can differ from year to year, depending on numbers enrolled in each year level. The school supports strong values and standards and parents are encouraged to become active participants in their child's education. There is a key curriculum focus on Literacy, Numeracy and Science. We aim to maximise student learning by providing a stimulating environment and one that caters to all interests and abilities. Students have access to state of the art technology with modern computers and interactive whiteboards in all classrooms. Students are able to access a huge range of activities and opportunities, such as active after school sports program, art gallery visits, and leaders' forum. The school also has a Chaplain who visits once a week, offering pastoral care programs. The school takes pride in the close working, supportive relationship with students' families.
