Craigieburn Secondary College believes that education makes a difference to the life opportunities of young people. The College's vision is to be an environment in which every student achieves their highest potential. In addition, we have high expectations of students, teachers and parents and we provide structures and processes that facilitate the implementation of a consistent and rigorous student learning program. Established over 25 years ago, Craigieburn Secondary College has a stable enrolment of around 1000 students, with outstanding facilities including specialist areas in Science and Technology, Physical Education, the Arts and Learning Technologies. It has 95.95 equivalent full time staff: 4 Principal class, 74.6 teachers and 17.35 Education Support staff. The College provides a learning environment that is safe, supportive and encourages purposeful work. Students have equal access to an opportunity to achieve success in a challenging comprehensive curriculum at Years 7 to10 in each of the VELS domains, as well as a wide range of VCE studies. Craigieburn Secondary College expects its students to work to the best of their ability, respect the rights of all others, to strive for excellence and to take pride in their work and their school.
