St Roch's School opened in Glen Iris in 1930. The school has an enrolment of around 160 children and consists of one main building, seven classrooms with five computers in each, an administration area, a main hall, and a recently refurbished discovery centre with a technology learning area. Some unique features of the school are its surrounds that include the 'Jubilee Garden' and playground, tennis courts, and an asphalted play area. Our sculpture, 'Learning Life and Faith', typifies the school's focus in the areas of spiritual, physical, emotional and intellectual education. Notable among some programs offered at St Roch's are well-developed literacy and numeracy programs, cross-age tutoring, a camping program, 'Circle Club' as part of our student wellbeing program, an SRC and after school care program. Our parents have a keen interest in the education of their children that supports the school in achieving its core values and mission. The school motto is 'Vitrus Sola Nobilitas'-'Virtue Alone is Noble'.
