Good Samaritan is a large Catholic, co-educational primary school in Roxburgh Park in the outer northern suburbs of Melbourne. Good Samaritan was founded in 1996 and now has a growing population of over 720 students. Our multicultural school community enriches our school and we open our arms to people from unfortunate backgrounds with almost half of our students' families having recently fled war-torn countries. We have very modern administration, planning, meeting and classroom facilities with our own separate specialist rooms for Visual Arts, Japanese, IT and Performing Arts. These are complemented by our chapel, hall, canteen and school kitchen. Three adventure playgrounds, a large sandpit, cricket nets, soccer field and basketball court provide plenty of play and sport areas. Religious education, literacy, numeracy, IT and physical education are all high priorities in our students' learning. We encourage all members of our community, students, parents and staff, to live life according to the gospel values, with the Good Samaritan as their inspiration and role model.
